Missing Weather in Google's "At a Glance" Widget

Image
Google's "At a Glance" widget is a lightweight and very handy widget for Android smartphones that shows the current date and weather. It's very popular on smartphones with stock Android like Google Pixel, Nokia and Motorola smartphones. Clicking the date or the weather info gives you quick access to your calendar and a detailed weather forecast, respectively. The weather forecast is both accurate and doesn't show any ads, which is great and pretty rare on Android nowadays. Unfortunately, the weather info and temperature sometimes disappears from the "At A Glance" widget and because of that, you cannot open the weather forecast. In this article I will show you a simple workaround that will let you access the detailed weather forecast when the weather info is missing from the widget of your Android smartphone.

Android - Copying Files over LAN Freezes and Fails

Copying files from your Android phone or tablet to your desktop or laptop computer and vice versa over your Local Area Network (LAN) is very handy if you don't want to deal with cables. Lowest Radiation Android and iOS Phones

All mobile phones, including smartphones, emit radio waves from their antennas in order to send/receive voice calls and data. Our body absorbs these waves and if they are too powerful, they will have negative effect on our health. The rate at which such radiation is absorbed by the human body is called Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) and is measured in watts per kilogram (W/kg). A mobile phone is approved for release only if its radiation level is below a certain threshold, which is 1.6 W/kg in the US and India and 2.0 W/kg in Europe. The lower the SAR value, the less radiation the phone emits. This article compares the SAR values of popular Android and iOS smartphones, so read on to find out which ones of them emit the lowest amount of radiation.

Show Battery Percentage on Moto and Nexus Phones

Image
Android smartphones and tablets running stock version of Android like the Nexus phones and tablets, the Moto phones (Moto E, Moto G and Moto X) and so on, by default do not show the battery charge percentage in the notification bar, but only a battery icon. There are many apps in the Google Play store, which show the battery percentage in the notification bar, but most of them show it on the left side far from the battery icon, which is on the right. Have you ever wondered if it is possible to show the battery percentage at the right, where the battery icon actually is? If yes, then read on, as this is exactly what I'm going to show you in this article.

Fortunately, there are some tricks and settings you can use to improve Moto G's camera quality significantly and that's what I'm going to show you in this article.
